Dextrose




            Dextrose is a type of glucose in which is used in many different circumstance. It has at least two different chiral centers as seen in the photo below.  It has a (R) configuration and a (S) configuration. Some location of dextrose are in the blood of the human body. It is also used in many cellular processes (Haskins 2013). Another place dextrose can be found is in fruits (Yacoub 2014). Another way dextrose is founds in IV bags in the hospitals. This type is called Dextrose Monohydrate Solution (Omudhome 2014). This form of sugar is very helpful in all parts of life.
