Vitamin E, an antioxidant, is just one of many uses of this particular vitamin. It's main use is to keep organs functioning properly and at their highest potential. It can be found in many foods and it is rare for someone to have a Vitamin E deficiency but supplements are available. These supplements are often given to patients who are receiving aggressive medication in order for the side effects to be lessened. One of the most common forms of Vitamin E is used for treating diabetes and its complications. It is also used for preventing cancer, particularly lung and and oral cancer in smokers, along with gastric, prostatic and pancreatic cancer.

Vitamin E is an important vitamin that properly aids the function of many organs in body. It helps slow down the process that has the potential to damage cells.
