Sucrose

Sucrose is table sugar that is found in the form of white sugar, brown sugar, powdered sugar, and  also in honey. Sucrose is a sweetener in many sodas, energy drinks, and sweets. It is also used as a tabletop sweetener for coffee and tea. Sucrose is a source of energy for your body because it is a caloric carbohydrate. Sucrose is also a preservative. Sucrose has 9 chiral centers.
